Workshop/Assembly Summary: 

Outside the Box is a workshop in which young people are given the opportunity to explore gender stereotypes and consider the long-term effects of gender inequality.

The aims of the workshops are to:

  • Provide young people with the opportunity to explore gender stereotypes and the harm that these can cause

  • Allow young people to explore where gender stereotypes come from

  • Equip young people with an understanding of what sexism is and its impact

  • Provide young people with the opportunity to think about what they can do to
    stop sexism

Workshops are tailored and adapted to each age group and delivered in their usual class groups
