Workshop/Assembly Summary: 

This workshop helps young people explore different types of families and learn the definitions of terms such as ‘gay’, ‘lesbian’ and ‘homophobia’, exploring the use of the word ‘gay’ in particular, and when and why its use is acceptable or unacceptable.

Young people explore how to best respond if they witness or experience homophobia and look at what they can do in their school to ensure that their classroom is inclusive for everyone.

Workshops are tailored to each age group and delivered in their usual class groups.
